Recap: Imagine! at GlobalShop 2016

For many years, Imagine! has had a consistent presence at GlobalShop.

GlobalShop is “the world’s largest annual show for retail design and shopper marketing featuring the industry’s most comprehensive array of store fixturing companies and in-store solutions.”

This year, Imagine! approached show strategy a little differently. We don’t work diligently for nearly a year to show random work samples and say “look what we did.” We aim for our booth to speak to show attendees, to say “we’re here for you, how can we help you with your marketing challenges like we did with these brands?”

Trending topics we heard over the course of the expo included:

  • Replicating reality
  • Creating more dimension in displays
  • Experimenting with moving parts and lights
  • Challenged by even shorter timelines
  • Transitioning design and production art away from agencies to meet timelines and budgets

Overall, it was a great show. We had the privilege of speaking with hundreds of folks from across the country who wanted to discover more about our one-of-a-kind approach to marketing services. Now that we’re back, we’re eager to start strategizing for GlobalShop 2017!
