Case Study: Product Display Testing

The Story:

Imagine! Print Solutions helped Johnson & Johnson create a Listerine “Store-within-a-Store” product display for Walgreens stores. The company’s goal was to distinguish its Listerine brand from competing products at-shelf.

The Imagine! Structural Design team developed creative design options for concept review. As a Walgreens-approved vendor, Imagine! produced renderings and structural builds for three rounds of prototypes for two Walgreens store profiles. Along with prototypes, Imagine! observed focus group interviews to get direct feedback on display effectiveness.

Johnson & Johnson and Walgreens approved a test store run to measure Listerine sales lift among a series of qualified sites. The test surpassed sales expectations, and Johnson & Johnson fully launched this display in more than 5,000 Walgreens store locations across the country.
