A leading, national tire manufacturer/retailer needed a new approach to the management of its print-related marketing programs. The company’s main focus was to streamline its marketing collateral, in-store signage, localized marketing and ad-builder resources.
With more than 20,000 retail footprints, including independent dealer locations, trade channels and company-owned outlets, the company needed a robust print and product management program. Because of the large number of locations, varying store types and wide array of assets, a comprehensive solution was required.
Imagine!’s internal software development team worked with the client to understand the specific system and business requirements and set out to design an all-in-one print-on-demand, cataloging, inventory management and fulfillment tool.
A dynamic marketing collateral and ad builder portal that enables retailers to order custom marketing collateral and create direct mail campaigns and build advertisements by choosing from a selection of template-driven art files provided from the corporate marketing team. The portal can be used in both French and English, supporting both U.S. and Canada locations.
The secure, online tool allows each retailer to choose cataloged products and customize components of the associated artwork. The site includes artwork thumbnails, large previews and categorization of products. Once proofs are approved, print-ready PDFs are instantly generated by the system and submitted into the print production workflow at Imagine!
In addition to the marketing collateral builder tool, the company uses Imagine!’s inventory management platform to control the warehousing, updating, and replenishment of 1,500+ marketing pieces. Outside of printed material, they use Imagine! to receive, warehouse, and incorporate materials housed from outside sources. Imagine!’s print-on-demand tool, coupled with the inventory management infrastructure, provided a complete print and product management solution for the client.
