Toys 'R Us
Big Toy Blowout 24' Display

This was a unique signage project for Toys ‘R Us.  Because of its size (24’), it presented unusual design challenges, in which Ron Kasel was heavily involved.  Some of the challenges were: 1)The display was divided into (3) sections and there were lug-ons on each section.  The lug-ons had to be interchangeable, even though they were different sizes.  2)Also, the display had to hang 12” from the back wall, so Ron designed a special locking bracket that was strong enough to support the display while being very easy to assemble.  These brackets attached to existing metal hardware in-store.  3)Imagine! researched and purchased special employee-friendly hot melt glue guns (low temperature) to aid in the construction of the project.

Susan Callies and Ron Kasel flew to Toys ‘R Us headquarters in Wayne, NJ to consult with the client and to demonstrate assembly technique.  After the consultation, changes were made to the project based upon customer input during the visit.  Toys ‘R Us was very impressed with the amount of attention and detail Imagine! gave to this project and were very happy with the end result, which was installed in 450 of their stores!
